By accessing or using ChessNarrate, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are prohibited from using the platform.
2. Intellectual Property
The ChessNarrate application code and user interface layout are proprietary. However, the background chess engine operates using Stockfish, which is licensed under the GPL-3.0 open-source license. All third-party assets, such as stockfish.js worker libraries, are the property of their respective creators and are used under permissive licenses.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use ChessNarrate for educational and recreational game analysis purposes only. You must not attempt to disrupt the performance of the local web worker engines, inject malicious code, or run denial-of-service scripts against the static page hosting servers.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
ChessNarrate is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the mathematical accuracy of the Stockfish engine, the reliability of AI-generated commentaries, or the availability of the web service.
5. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall ChessNarrate or its developers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the platform.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted directly on this page, and your continued usage of the application indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
